Instruction for 2017 graduate school entrance examination of master course (general addmission)

The schedule of oral examination on Feb. 3rd, 2017 is as follows.

Gathering Time and Location

 

Certificate of TOEIC or TOEFL Score

  • You must bring the original of the certificate (Official Score Certificate of TOEIC or Examinee’s Score Record of TOEFL is acceptable). The certificate is collected when you’ve gathered at the waiting room and will not be returned to you. If you cannot submit the certificate at this time, your score of this examination will be invalid.

Oral Examination Procedure (2): Oral Presentation

  • Presentation Time: You are allowed to give 10 minutes presentation (1st bell rings at 8 min. then 2nd bell rings at 10 min.). After the 2nd bell rang, you must finish your presentation. Then examiners will give you questions.
  • Contents of Your Presentation: You’re required to explain your past and current research works, your research plan at our graduate school, and your motivation why you are applying to our graduate school. Please note that the presentation should be made only by PPT slide presentation. You are not allowed to bring in nor deliver any materials at the examination room.
  • Presentation Equipment: We’ll prepare PC projector (overhead transparency slide projector won’t be prepared) in each of examination room. The resolution of projector is XGA and connector is VGA (D-sub 15pin). You must bring in your own notebook PC and make the presentation. Also, it is recommended to make a hard copy of your slides in A4 papers as the backup of your presentation. Since the projectors we prepare have the function of document camera, you may give your presentation using A4 papers in the case you have problems on your notebook PC. As for the number of slides, we won’t make the limitations, but you must finish your presentation in 12 min.

  • Those who apply one year early completion program are required to make a contact and have consultations with your presumed advisors in advance to the examination.
